Enjoy this elegant Italianate Mansion labeled beautiful by all who see it. Listed on The National Historic Register, it was built by a Scottish Immigrant who dealt in cotton trading and shipping. Quietly located two blocks from the center of historic Monticello, Florida on an acre of restored grounds, the thirteen room house has eight fireplaces, period antiques, original paint colors and even a cupola on top to view the town. A romantic bridal/anniversary suite is available. All rooms are extra large.

Children are made to feel more than welcome with the kids breakfast menu, baby furniture if needed, toys, books and an old fashioned playground. Picking up pecans in the fall is a memorable experience for all. Pets love having a vacation with their loved ones and enjoy all the places to walk and room to have fun. This is a family oriented B & B.

Two large rooms have an additional trundle bed for extra persons or children if needed. Four rooms have king size beds and one has a queen size bed. Our romantic Honeymoon/Anniversary suite has a very large bathroom with huge clawfoot tub. Rooms can be joined together for suites which are perfect for families.

Our signature dish is Pecan Waffles
Requested over and over these waffles are made like Grandma used to make from scratch with beaten egg whites and served hot from the waffle iron. The large plentiful pecans are grown from trees in the yard or locally. Melted real butter and warm pecan syrup which tastes like the best melted candy you ever ate put guests in heaven. They are served with homemade breakfast sausage from the highly acclaimed Johnston's - our local locker plant. I also have fresh fruit salad every morning and eggs upon request. The apple-pecan/Kahlua icing mini muffins run a close second for popularity. Come Enjoy!
